In 1987, Moorland Pottery, owners Jonathan and Adrian, took over the Studio Szeiler Pottery at 72A, Moorland Road. I am grateful to Vikki Speakman for this update.

Collectors of Wade will no doubt come across these pieces in their travels and the figures have started to be collected in their own right.

I know from reading 'World of Wade, Bk.2', page 33, by Warner and Posgay, he introduced Paul Zalman, a Hungarian refugee, to Anthony Wade in early 1957. There is a similarity to early Wade animal miniature figures, see W.of W.Bk1 page 24.
